The rich tapestry of Cantonese tradition is on full display at the Zhaoqing Guangfu Culture Temple Fair, offering visitors an immersive cultural experience highlighted by heritage parades, Lantern Festival celebrations, and a diverse array of regional culinary delights.
This year's fair is organized around six distinct thematic pillars: Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH), Food, Technology, Art, Song Dynasty Style, and Local Brands. The event features a sprawling layout with 103 booths distributed across the Zhaoqing ICH Market and the Guangfu Cultural Creative Market. Visitors can explore a wide variety of offerings, ranging from live craft demonstrations and interactive cultural activities to traditional snacks and innovative creative products.
A central highlight of the event is the gathering of nine major Zhaoqing brand pavilions, allowing attendees to access the region's premium local "Guangdong goods" in a single location. The pavilions showcase a blend of artisanal craftsmanship and agricultural excellence, featuring renowned products such as Sihui Jade, Guangning Jade Carving, Fengkai Xinghua Chicken, and distinctive Longmu cultural items.
