It’s graduation time and as a reward many high school and university graduates choose to treat themselves to a celebratory trip before starting their next big stage in life. This year, spending per student has surged by 21 percent year on year as young people choose to travel further and with more frills, according to China’s largest online travel agency Trip.com.

More than 40 percent of graduates are opting to vacation in different provinces over this peak season from June 10 to July 30 as travel restrictions relax after a spate of Covid-19 outbreaks, the report said. 

Searches using the key words “graduation trip” have almost quadrupled since the start of the month on online travel agency Tongcheng Travel. And in the past week, such searches on travel experience-sharing platform Mafengwo have more than doubled.

Summer tourism has bounced back in China as prominent scenic spots reopen, most provinces allow inter-provincial travel, and many areas and attractions offer free tickets.

As a sign of the accelerated tourism recovery, the Universal Beijing Resort has reopened with limited capacity. The resort resumed operations on Saturday after a suspension of nearly two months and was top among all searches for theme parks across the country on domestic online travel platform Qunar.

Data from Trip.com showed that in the week ended on June 21, the number of cross-provincial group tour bookings rose 291 percent from the previous week, and cross-provincial hotel bookings were up 151 percent on a weekly basis. According to Qunar's data, from June 1 to 15 this year, domestic hotel reservation has more than doubled from the second half of May.

To encourage summer tourism, nearly 500 scenic spots across China have announced free tickets or discounts for special groups, such as students and medical workers, in a bid to revive tourism, after COVID-19 flare-ups in many Chinese cities were contained, according to Trip.com.

Some scenic spots in Zhangjiajie, Central China's Hunan Province, better known as the mountains in Avatar, are open to students free of charge until August 31, according to the local tourism bureau.

旅游“暑假档”来临，国内旅游市场强劲复苏。

随着各地疫情防控取得积极进展，大多数省份允许跨省旅游，许多地区和景点提供免费门票，国内夏季旅游业迎来复苏。

上周末，北京环球度假区终于迎来重开，并很快登上去哪儿网“全国主题公园搜索榜”榜首。同样位于北京的古北水城周六的酒店预订量也已恢复到80%以上。

为抓住暑期旅游旺季，加快旅游市场复苏，近日，全国多地景区面向全国游客陆续推出免门票优惠。

位于湖南省张家界景区，将于8月31日前向学生免费开放。携程旅行网数据显示，截至目前，携程平台张家界国家公园0元票累计销量近4000张，6月至今整体票量环比提升667%。不久前，陕西华山、江西庐山、青海茶卡盐湖等景区都宣布6月向全国游客免门票一个月。青岛自6月1日至年底，也将新增11家国有景区免门票开放。

去哪儿数据显示，随着各省文旅消费券的发放，省内游带动效应明显，尤其是部分非省会城市酒店预订量已超去年暑期同期，显示了文旅资源向下挖潜的巨大空间；部分省份开放跨省游，大西南、大西北本月在去哪儿平台上的搜索热度环比均上涨了5成以上，有望加速带动内循环消费市场，进一步稳定经济盘。

去哪儿大数据显示，暑期档带动旅游市场加速复苏势头强劲。今年6月1日-15日，全国酒店预订量较5月后半月环比增长超过一倍。

“毕业季”的来临也让暑期旅游市场持续升温。自本月初以来，在线旅行社同程旅游上“毕业旅行”一词的搜索量几乎翻了两番。

携程数据显示，今年学生的人均毕业旅行花销同比增长了21%，超过40%的毕业生选择去外省旅游。数据显示，最近一周暑期跨省跟团游预订量周环比增长291%；暑期跨省酒店预订周环比增长151%。

• Profits of China's major industrial companies saw a narrower decline in May as factories have restarted production lines amid improving business activities, data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed Monday. Major industrial firms, each with business revenue of at least 20 million yuan, saw their profits decline 6.5 percent from a year earlier last month, narrowing from 8.5-percent contraction in April. In May, revenues of these major firms went up 6.8 percent year on year, a faster growth pace compared with April. During the January-May period, these industrial firms raked in around 3.44 trillion yuan in total profits, up 1 percent year on year.

  5月工业企业利润降幅收窄：国家统计局周一数据显示，国内疫情防控形势总体逐渐向好，企业复工复产、物流保通保畅有序推进，工业企业生产经营逐步恢复，企业利润降幅收窄。5月份，全国规模以上工业企业利润同比下降6.5%，降幅较上月收窄2.0个百分点；全国规模以上工业企业营业收入同比增长6.8%，增速较上月有所回升。前5月，全国规模以上工业企业实现利润总额3.44万亿元，同比增长1.0%。

• China's National Meteorological Center renewed its yellow alert today for severe weather threats. From 2 p.m. Monday to 2 p.m. Tuesday, rainstorms are expected in parts of 14 provinces and regions across northeastern to southwestern China. Short spells of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are also expected to lash certain areas. Parts of Liaoning, Shandong and Jiangsu will experience downpours with up to over 100 mm of hourly precipitation. 

  暴雨黄色预警：中央气象台继续发布暴雨黄色预警，预计6月27日14时至28日14时，辽宁北部和东部、吉林中东部、黑龙江东部、内蒙古东南部、河南东南部、山东南部、苏皖北部、湖北中东部、湖南西部和北部、贵州南部、四川南部、广西西北部、西藏东南部等地的部分地区有大到暴雨，部分地区伴有短时强降水（最大小时降雨量30～70毫米，局地可超过80毫米），局地有雷暴大风等强对流天气。其中，辽宁东部、山东南部、江苏北部等地部分地区有大暴雨（100～160毫米）。

• Restaurants in Shanghai will resume dine-in services starting Wednesday as the epidemic situation in the city has been basically brought under control, an official with the Shanghai Commerce Commission said at a press briefing on Sunday.

  上海周三起有序开放堂食：6月26日, 上海市新冠肺炎疫情防控新闻发布会指出，从6月29日起，辖区内无中风险地区且近一周内无社会面疫情的街镇，将有序放开餐饮堂食。

• Beijing’s education commission announced on Saturday that students of primary and high schools can go back to campus on Monday, as the city's COVID-19 epidemic situation has improved in recent days. According to the announcement, students of all grades of primary schools, students at grade one and grade two of middle and high schools can resume classroom education. Besides, children in kindergartens can go back to school on July 4.  

  北京公布返校返园时间：6月25日，在北京市新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情防控工作第376场新闻发布会上，北京市委教育工委副书记、市教委新闻发言人李奕表示，北京高一高二、初一初二年级和小学一至六年级6月27日（周一）返校，幼儿园7月4日返园。

• The sixth World Intelligence Congress concluded in Tianjin on Saturday. A total of 136 deals worth 84.9 billion yuan were signed, most of them in emerging high-tech fields such as information innovation, high-end equipment and bio-pharmaceutical, according to the organizer. 

  第六届世界智能大会于津闭幕：6月25日下午，第六届世界智能大会在国家会展中心(天津)闭幕。大会期间，总计签约项目136个，总投资额约849亿元，领域主要集中在信创、高端装备、生物医药等新兴产业。

• Africa’s largest listed investment group, Naspers, says it and its consumer internet arm Prosus plan to sell down its holding in Tencent Holdings to finance a share buyback program, sending the Chinese internet firm over 2 percent lower in the afternoon trading. Prosus’s CEO said in an interview that the selling will only be 3 to 5 percent of Tencent daily traded volumes. The company, spun off from Naspers in 2019, owns 29 percent stake in Tencent.

  腾讯大股东出售股份：6月27日，腾讯集团发布公告称，公司主要股东Prosus及Naspers（统称“Naspers集团”）宣布，将启动一项长期开放式的股票回购计划，而回购计划所需资金将通过出售Naspers集团持有的腾讯股票方式筹集。据公告，Naspers预计每天出售的腾讯股份数目平均不会超过腾讯日平均成交量的3%-5%。腾讯控股港股股价午后跳水，一度跌超2%，收盘跌幅收窄至1.56%。

• China Broadnet has become the fourth state-backed carrier in China to offer fifth-generation wireless network services, after it was granted a 5G network operator license together with the three main players in June 2019. The new player’s 5G services can now be booked with 7 monthly plans ranging between 118 yuan to 588 yuan, and phone numbers starting with the digits 192 will be available soon.

• Avatr Technology, a high-end intelligent electric vehicle brand under Chinese carmaker Changan Automobile, will join hands with tech giant Huawei Technologies to develop four high-end smart EVs by 2025, according to the comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement they inked on June 25.

  阿维塔、华为合作造车：6月25日，阿维塔科技与华为签署全面战略合作协议，共同打造高端智能汽车。按照协议，双方将在最优资源投入、华为HI商标授权等全领域达成共识，并基于全新一代智能电动车技术平台CHN，合力打造系列高端智能电动汽车产品并持续迭代，至2025年推出4款全新车型。

• Airbus will establish the Airbus China Research Center in Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province, to strengthen the company's footprint and innovation partnerships in China, the company announced Friday. The Airbus and Suzhou Industrial Park signed a framework agreement on Friday on the establishment of the centre.

  空客中国研发中心落户苏州：6月24日晚，空中客车与中国苏州工业园区签署框架协议，选择苏州作为空客中国研发中心所在地。据悉，该研发中心将重点围绕氢能源基础设施开展研究工作。

• China's securities regulator will include exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in stock connect schemes with Hong Kong from June 24, it said in a statement on Friday. Stock connect schemes enable investors in mainland China and Hong Kong to freely trade stocks listed on exchanges in both locations.

  ETF正式纳入互联互通：6月24日, 中国证监会发布《关于交易型开放式基金纳入互联互通相关安排的公告》, 公告自发布之日起实施，交易型开放式基金(即ETF)纳入互联互通。

• The total bond issuance in China topped 4.91 trillion yuan last month, according to data from the People's Bank of China.The issuance of treasury bonds reached 561.62 billion yuan, and the issuance of local government bonds came in at about 1.21 trillion yuan, central bank data showed. In May, financial bond issuance stood at 556.24 billion yuan, and corporate bond issuance hit 759.54 billion yuan. The issuance of asset-backed securities totaled 10.39 billion yuan, and that of interbank deposit certificates reached 1.77 trillion yuan. 

  5月债券市场发行各类债券4.91万亿：6月24日，人民银行发布的2022年5月份金融市场运行情况显示。5月份，我国债券市场共发行各类债券49102.5亿元。国债发行5616.2亿元，地方政府债券发行12076.7亿元，金融债券发行5562.4亿元，公司信用类债券发行7595.4亿元，信贷资产支持证券发行103.9亿元，同业存单发行17726.9亿元。

• Chinese stocks rose on Monday, with tourism and consumer sectors leading the gains, as Shanghai reported zero new local cases for the first time in two months. The Shanghai Composite rose 0.88 percent and the Shenzhen Composite gained 1.1 percent. In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index closed 2.35 percent higher and the TECH index gained 4.71 percent.

  周一A股高开高走。沪指涨0.88%，深成指涨1.1%，创业板指涨0.22%。 沪深两市成交额12291亿元。板块方面，煤炭开采加工、酒店及餐饮、机场航运等涨幅居前；房地产服务、保险板块飘绿。港股恒生指数收涨2.35%，恒生科技指数收涨4.71%。

• A corporate bond is a type of debt security that is issued by a firm and sold to investors. The company gets the capital it needs and in return the investor is paid a pre-established number of interest payments at either a fixed or variable interest rate.
