As the heartland of high-quality digital development in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangzhou’s Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone is home to China’s tech giants Tencent, Alibaba, Vipshop, and cutting-edge AI firms such as Cloud Butterfly Technology and Zhijing Technology.

On January 12th, a group of young literary translators from Latin American countries including Cuba, Argentina and Chile toured around leading Chinese internet companies and industrial platforms in the Pazhou Pilot Zone, including WeChat headquarters, Alibaba's online reading platform Shuqi, and the Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Experience Promotion Center.

During the visit, the delegation gained in-depth insights into Pazhou's achievements in the core AI and digital economy industries, frontier sector layouts, and the development of an innovation ecosystem. This tour offered them a first-hand experience of China's economic development model and its technological innovation practices. This exchange is set to inject new vitality into China–Latin America economic and trade ties, and people-to-people exchanges.
