Shanghai Legoland has become an important part of Merlin Entertainments’ global portfolio, said Jeanette Chen, Vice President of Merlin Group and General Manager of Legoland Shanghai Resort.

In an exclusive interview with SFC, Chen said among the group’s 11 Legoland parks worldwide, Shanghai Legoland has become the first and fastest to surpass one million visitors. Since December 2025, the share of overseas visitors has also increased notably, mainly from Southeast Asia as well as some European markets.
